A Simultaneous Singing of our National Anthem Helps Teach Young People to Remember
The quality of your singing voice doesn’t matter and Wreaths Across America encourages you to pause, no matter where you are, and join young people throughout the country today in singing the Star Spangled Banner.
It’s part of the National Anthem Movement and President of the American Public Education Foundation, David Pickler, explains how the movement was born.
The National Anthem Movement is growing according to Pickler and there’s a free supporting curriculum that assists public school educators in teaching the history behind the writing of the national anthem, during the War of 1812.
We hope you’ll raise your voice today with the children of our nation as we remember our fallen, honor those who serve and teach our children the meaning of freedom.
